Service Description

This is not a typical riding experience. This is you, bareback, in the ocean, with a horse. Every summer (June to September), we open the ocean horse swimming experiences at Miurakaigan — just one hour and half from Tokyo by train— to offer one of the most extraordinary experiences in Japan. You'll ride from the farm through town down to the beach, then the saddle comes off and you wade into the ocean together with your horse. Hold on to the mane, ride the waves, feel the horse move beneath you in the water. Exhilarating, surreal, and completely unforgettable. Your guide speaks English and Chinese throughout. We handle the booking, the briefing, and everything in between — so you just show up and enjoy. Beginner Course (90 min) No riding experience needed. An instructor stays with you the entire time, in and out of the water. Swimwear under your clothes is recommended. Experienced Course (90 min) For riders with prior experience who want more freedom in the water. Confirmed based on your riding background. PRICE ¥25,000 - 30,000 per person for Riding ¥5,000 for Transaltion Includes: ocean swim session, all safety equipment (helmet, vest), bilingual guide & interpretation. Not included: transport to/from Miurakaigan Station, meals. (We're happy to help arrange your full day — just ask.)
