Service Description

Service Description This is not a festival performance or a costume photo op. This is you, on a horse, moving fast, bow in hand, targets coming at you one by one. We join a 3-day yabusame intensive in Aomori Prefecture — one of the only centres in Japan offering structured yabusame training to civilian riders. Over 8 hours across three days, you'll learn yabusame theory, traditional Japanese tack, mounted archery technique, and build up to live runs on the track. Your guide speaks English throughout. I handle the interpretation for all instruction, coordinate transport, and take care of everything on the ground — so you can put your full attention on riding.
